𝐌𝐰𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭: 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟑 – 𝐋𝐑𝐏 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

The Mwache Dam Project Management Unit (PMU), World Bank team, and the Resettlement Implementation Consultant (Frontman) met today on the third day of the World Bank support mission to discuss the Livelihood Restoration Plan(LRP).

The discussions focused on the delivery of LRP inputs, ongoing procurements, construction of livelihood facilities, community concerns, implementation challenges, and other matters affecting the programme.

The discussions are critical in ensuring smooth implementation of livelihood restoration activities for Project Affected Persons (PAPs), with the goal of restoring and improving their livelihoods to better than their pre-project status.
