Mwache Dam Project Coordinator, Eng. Simon Kibachio, along with the Project Management Unit and Supervising Engineer, welcomed the World Bank team, led by Task Team Leader (TTL) Mr. Pieter Waalewijn, a Senior Water Resources Management and Irrigation Specialist at the World Bank Group, to the Project Boardroom in Fulugani, Kwale County, for Day Two of the World Bank Support Mission.
The team held technical discussions focusing on key areas critical to the successful implementation of the Mwache Dam Project, including work progress on the Main Dam (MD), Lower Check Dam (LCD), and building works; updated project work schedule; contract management and claims; cash flow and project budget, among others.
The discussions provide an important platform to review progress, address implementation challenges, and strengthen coordination to keep the project on track for timely completion.
